In high school and college I was always athletic. I was active in sports and trained regularly. However, as I got older and started working (in the real world), I ended up tearing my Achilles Tendon (in 2012). After my recovery, I tried and tried to get back in shape but I kept getting hurt because I never addressed the issues that caused my Achilles to rupture in the first place. I then started eating and drinking for stress release versus need. I gained roughly 45 pounds and became discouraged. One day, I decided to stop my "poor me" act and make a change. I am now a certified trainer with NASM and I am training to compete in my first bodybuilding competition in early 2022.
